Comment on Thorung La by Dominion-Photography

Thorong La was one of nine 5000m+ passes (highest point was 5600m) that we crossed while completing a 61 day trek from Arughat Bazar through the Manaslu and Annapurna regions, then Mustang and Dolpo, then via Phoksumdo Lake to Rara Lake and then on through Simikot to the western border at Hilsa (then returning to Simikot to fly out to Kathmandu). More than 700km. An amasing challenge, and we got to trek with others who were doing more of the Nepal GHT than us. One guy (a 19 year old ...also from Melbourne) was completing the whole Nepal east to west traverse (152 days!).
