I agree, and honestly its something i need to think about more - only recently ive even started doing backgrounds in my own art, and only recently attempting colouring others works, which i find far more enjoyable than my own lines i must admit. You have created a lovely balance here.

I've always said that even if your more interested in illustrating your own work, coloring other peoples art is a great developmental tool for learning how to use color better. good luck with your art and thanks for the kind words ;)

Thanks very much and yes, since colouring works for the past month ive seen improvement in my work, slight but there, also seeing lines close up and colouring has also helped my own line and style. I guess we subconciously pick things up when we stare at something for hours on end XD something must sink in!
