Epic! But Sombra needed more screen time... Way more screen time...
The animation got better, i really like the humor as always and it looks like they already made a hint to something big happening at the end of the season, like they did with the gala in season 1. Only 13 episodes, but i think they are going to be worth the wait!
And Pinkie got more random, i really really like!

You know, thinking about it from a story perspective, I'm not so sure Sombra precisely NEEDED more screentime. He was a different kind of villain than any we've gotten in the past. He was more a threatening presence, a danger that had to be stopped before it started because, if it did start, it would already be too late. Like Sauron, from The Lord of the Rings.
Overall, Sombra's my new favorite MLP villain. Even without the staggering power of Nightmare Moon or Discord, or an army supporting him like Queen Chrysalis, he came closer to victory than any of them through intelligence and planning. Literally the only reason he lost was because Spike insisted on going with Twilight to find the Crystal Heart.
But anyway, Sombra's awesome... and as for this story, well....

The screentime i needed was more background story about him. In my eyes, he could have been Celestias star pupil before Twilight Sparkle. He reminds me of someone who missed the chance for ultimate power, and went mad instead. We know quite some things about Sauron before he became the dark lord. He didn't need more of the screentime in those 2 episodes, but he needs more. It will be waste of a clearly epic character if they don't throw in just a little more of him in this season.

And now you just say Sombra takes the spotlight and die, and i have to cancel the nuclear pictures of me and stash away my power armor...
Next thing you say is probably that Galaxys cutie mark will be that of the crystal princess, cancel the rest of our fights i have planned the next 2 years and say you have turned a new leaf and decided to become a gardner after you have written the crusaders...
