Thank you. I usually drop the white balance just a touch at night ~ 4500 - 4750K. I especially do this when I'm shooting around man made lights because they are very orange so dropping the temp brings of the natural blues in the sky.

Thank you that was very helpful. The handful of times I've had the opportunity to shoot the milky way I definitely got a lot of oranges which I was unhappy about, lol.

NP. Yeah, that has been the biggest issue I have had with night shots aswell. It's funny the things digital sensors pick up. I have never seen it on film.
