Love these! I don't use Photoshop, though... I'm an open-source kind of guy, and I use The GIMP ([link]). When I find a Photoshop brush set I like I just convert it to GIMP format and pull 'em on in. I already did that with these, for my own use. Mind if I repost them in the GIMP brushes section, with full credit for the original work going back to you along with a link back here? That way other GIMP folks that don't know how to convert Photoshop stuff can use your brushes, too, and your work gets spread around for even more artisits to use (especially ones that are trying to be honest and not use stolen software, but can't afford Photoshop, so they use The GIMP (like me)). Let me know!

I like open-source. :)

Anything I post to this account is totally 100% free use, so I can't possibly mind.

Welp, here you go... Check it out here: [link]

Thanks again! BTW, I can convert pretty much ANY Photoshop brush or brush set to GIMP format. Noticed something about Russian cigars... I wonder what they are rolled with... Yak skin? I'd like to try one if you could maybe direct a supplier my way....

If you want Russian cigars I can direct well intentioned folk your way on my journal if you like. I'm not sure my brushes get that much interest that you'll find a lot of people after GIMP versions though. :)

(All the cigars I've smoked have been very cheap and made in asia, I'm clueless about Russian varities.)

Eh, I was kidding about the cigars... :P But, just for the record, here's the stats off the Scratchies set so far:

Not a TON of traffic, but certainly some real interest. We GIMP users are outnumbered by Photoshop folks, but it's still a pretty cool tool, and we tend to snatch up whatever good resources become available. That, and your brushes are good to start with! You probably noticed that this set has been in today's favorites (Photoshop Brushes) for two days now... Well, so has the GIMP set of them. Maybe they are helping each other, maybe not. Anyway, for me it's worth doing.

Thanks again!

More interest for gimpie than I expected, sweet. (And that brushes had top favourites, not realised that, either.)

I would like to point you out on my journal. Does the conversion require a version of Photoshop. If it doesn't you should post a tutorial for the process that you/I can direct users to.

No, it doesn't require Photoshop, just something that can open abr files. I use "abrViewer.NET". Actually, there are tutorials out there... I forget which one I used, but I'll either find it again or write one myself. Either way I'll get something up there. It's a simple process, actually, once you have the tools.

Thanks for the journal mention! Like I said, I'll get something out there about the process, hopefully tonight.
