I love how shocked he looks, yet he still complies without complaint!
I love the way you draw them.

I actually spent a few minutes deciding whether or not this needed any speech text, but then I realized it was a speechless moment. Piccolo’s more confounded than anything. I wanted to jerk him between his embarrassment/shock and his need to want to trust Gohan because ...well, it’s Gohan.

To be honest, he looks a bit terrified in the last panel... but then again, he would be, I guess!
Definitely a speechless moment, I must agree. It goes without say, I absolutely LOVE this doujin with a... Passion XD You're awesome.

Terrified? Think so? I was actually going for the ‘I’m reeeeally not sure about this’ look *lol*

Thank you again. ...Maybe a tad rusty though. It’s been some time since I’ve had that many projects/work that needed the Toriyama-style.

'I'm reeeally not sure about this and I'm quite terrified about it' :)
I wish I drew like this while rusty. doesn't look rusty at all!

Thank you. I appreciate that. I can still see things that are distinctively mine in the art. That’s not a negative though. I’d rather it have my ‘fingerprints’ all over it, if you will.

Yeah, I like your style, it's very Toriyama-esque but with a slight bit of extra flourish, e.g. tapered, incomplete lines which add to the dynamic feel of the water and such. Works really well with the setting ^^

On the subject of talking about them earlier today, that incomplete, flourishing style is something I brought w/ me from my adventures with Yokohama and Pink Palace. I always admired the way Ayumi approached it. Her art moved like water. It’s the only way I can think now to describe it. I have a few of her panel arts here. I should scan them sometime.
