well when the trio came out, they were the only ones who knew how to use lock on.
also, lock on may not damage but the next move the user makes is a guaranteed bullseye, no matter how much the target dodges

ohhh so that's why. how very unique. but wasn't Lock On introduced in Gen2 and pokemon like Magnemite were able to use it

oh yeah. always thought it was a signature move cause the golems were the only ones who made that move in the anime
