This book sounds super interesting too ;3; And the cover illustration is gorgeous! I love how the blue has a bit of texture to it, almost like it's another of your paper cuttings.
(Also the way the green lighting is reflecting off of her skin is great, it's amazing how you can get that look with cel shading.... :'3 )

Man I love my cel shading, it makes so much more sense to me than blended shading....
I've been trying to use pattern and texture a little more in my work, trying to kinda blend together cut-paper and drawing.... So I'm glad you noticed!

Hee... it looks really good! :D In a way cel-shading lends itself really well to that approach, being already quite graphic and clean-edged.
