That's one of the reasons I like them, too. I think the main reason is probably because the very first MLP toy I had when I was young was named Wave Runner. I'd love to see her included in FiM.

It would. I like how the ponies of FiM have distinctly different styles of mane and tail. If Waverunner did appear I hope she'd keep the same frizzy, kind of like sea foam style of hair that her toy has. Ha, now I feel old growing up through all these generations of MLP.
Yup. FIM ponies have all sorts of styles for the mane and tail. In other generations they had the exact same mane/tail styles. The only difference was the color and cutie marks.
