The coconut thing is a geek thing from the movie "Monty Python and the holy grail." when riding there imaginary horses they clap two halves of a coconut together to emulate the noise horses make when galloping. The movie is hilarious, but might not appeal to all. Well that's what I assumed when the gif pulled out a coconut so I could be wrong.

Monty Python has nothing to do with MLP, and shouldn't due to it being on the opposite side of the spectrum of audiences.
