I am wholly glad that one of the first things that showed up when I searched Dark Souls in the DA search bar was one of your comics. If not, I would never have discovered such amazing and hilarious masterpieces. :D I enjoy your artwork very much! :meow:

But ya know, it always makes me a little sad with NPCs such as Beatrice, Leeroy, and Lautrec. You summon them for these epic fights, and then you discover their long dead bodies in different areas. (Lautrec significantly less so, but it's still a tad sad.) I mean, Leeroy's is in the Gravelord's shrine, Beatrice's in the Valley of the Drakes, and even Lautrec's in Anor Londo. Adds a little extra depth in your cooperation with them.

Ah, but look at me taking up your comment section with my inane rambling. You've got great talent; 'tis all I wanted to convey.

Well, Lautrec isn't exactly a corpse in Anor Londo... at least not until the player has their way with him. I personally refuse to feel sorry for him: dude creeped me out from the get-go with his sinister little chuckles and his oh-so-subtle foreshadowing. Tarkus on the other hand... for someone so badass to go down to a bunch of wannabe ninjas in bedsheets... that is sad.

As for Leeroy... I find it hard not to laugh imagining how that one went down.

Ah...that would make more sense. :iconhmplz: But now I always kick him off the edge at Firelink. Or parry the shit out of him. Both provide me great joy. :3

Oh gods, Tarkus. He got so far, only to fall off the rafters and get ganked by the painted guardians. 'Tis truly a terrible fate.

As for Leeroy, don't you find it strange how he's summonable for Pinwheel but then proceeds to invade you in the Tomb of the Giants? And how did he end up in the Gravelord's Chamber? Is it possible he converted to Gravelord or was it something else?

If what VaatiVidya posited about Paladin Leeroy is true - that he was sent to obtain the Rite of Kindling - him attacking you makes perfect sense. A temporary alliance with you to kill a powerful Necromancer like Pinwheel is one thing, but if you have what he was sent to obtain and you are one of the Undead despised by the Way of White, then him attacking you to take it by force is quite logical.

As for how Leeroy wound up in the Altar of the Gravelord... I always imagined him making his namesake proud. ^_^

Again, that makes a lot more sense. ^^; Even though I watched that video, I still sort of forgot. And I'm sorry, but I can't help but giggle when you use "powerful" and "Pinwheel" in the same sentence. XD

And maybe, Leeroy was pretty badass. 'Twas a good fight too.

Hey, Pinwheel's magic blasts deal a lot of damage if you're weak or not prepared. As for Leeroy putting up a good fight? I guess I got off lucky: when I fought him I was able to backstab-kick him into Ash Lake. He hit me once and it nearly one-shotted me, though I did have a decently strong summon with me, which helped a lot.

/blush! Your words are too kind! Honestly, I'm just happy that people enjoy it! XD

And I totally agree with you... it's crazy how much you care for some of the NPC's and there's almost NO knowledge about them other than a bit of descriptions on the armor/items they leave behind... so sad.

And rambling is fine! If anything the best things are convey'd through rambles! Har har har.
Thankies! ♥
