Is that his dinner hanging out of his mouth as others have implied or am I right in thinking the mass of dangling viscera is a natural part of him? I imagine he would slurp his food into it all satisfyingly wet-like.
Yea, his guts are basically his mouth. He can starts digesting his prey as soon as he grabs them. 
Now that would make either a hilariously nauseating monster hentai or the best-ever interpretation of "Beauty and the Beast" in movie history.
