Comment on Toward the Bacchanalia by A3ulez

Both books are rather depressing, actually. I probably wouldn't have read either if they hadn't been on my reading list for school. As for the symbolism in The Old Man and the Sea, I didn't even notice it until my English teacher forced a unit about it upon us. I think you have to know a bit about Hemingway himself before you completely understand it, too...but I can't remember.
