Don't apologize for the long comment (: I definitely made this journal so that people could share their feelings and thoughts on the subject.

Trust me, I know the feeling of having a 'college crisis'. I went through the same thing many times over the summer and last semester. My advice would be to really reflect on whether or not art is your passion, because if it is, than all of the hard work will pay off. I know professors can grade tough, but don't let those B's discourage you.
However, if you are really beginning to believe that art is not the career path for you, it might be a good time to get out. I have talked to many former art students who really didn't have the drive for art, but they went ahead and stuck with it anyway. All of those people regretted that decision. One of them has a desk job at a dentist's office x.x She said she wished she had spent the time in medical school instead of art school.
Luckily as a college freshman there is still time to figure out which direction you want to go in. If you really enjoy art as a hobby it is always a possibility to minor in it :)
If you really have the drive to become a tattoo artist, I have a great article for you to read :D For the longest time I wanted to pursue tattooing as a career (I am still thinking about it) but this article definitely helped give me a whole new perspective on the business: [link]

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck in whichever direction you decide to go :)

Well I guess for me while art may not be my passion, I don't know what is haha. But I guess I can keep searching. Thanks for the reply and that article really did effect my thoughts on tattooing as a career. Thanks again. :)
