Comment on Toxoplasmosis by cunene

Why did you call it toxoplamosis? It must be some form.of symbolism... but I cant place it aside from a few vague ideas.

Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease (the cat is the primary host, but also warm blooded animals), maybe she's a rat too and she's infected (red dress). It has been found that the parasite has the ability to subtly change the behaviour of its host, infected rats are less fearful of cats. The parasite is able to proliferate if a cat eats the infected rat and thereby becomes a carrier.

interesting! all i ever knew of the disease is that it can be fatal or something to pregnant women, hence why most of them are told to have caution when caring for their cats.

It can be fatal for all animals, for humans is dangerous, in particular in pregnant woman, the infection can cause healt problems to the newborn.
