So no. There couldn't have been any inspiration from those songs. (Don't know much about VOCALOID but I'd assume those songs are newer) These pictures are what first brought me to dA many years ago.

I think if they had meant to base this off of the VOCALOID song series, they would have used the characters in place of their own people. For example, they could have used Meiko for gluttony, since that is her song in the Deadly Sins series. I understand your viewpoint, especially since I am a VOCALOID fan myself, but the Deadly Sins are a common theme outside of the VOCALOID fandom. (sorry if I sounded harsh, that was not my intention. o-o)

I know this is an old post, but I just wanted to add that the Seven Deadly Sins aren't from the Christian Bible, they are from Catholic Church doctrine.
Indeed. I found out about that a few months later after I posted, but I forgot about how I told everyone that the sins came from the Bible. Pretty stupid of me, trying to act like a smartass with wrong information. :/

i know XDD I saw that too, but just saying, there are songs out there. ^^
... the songs are based around the old notion of 7 deadly sins... vocaloid didn't come up with them.
