First of all, I absolutely adore your art. Your style is fantastic, and I love your coloring!
Yes, the outfits were partially inspired by your drawing. What originally urged us to create the outfits were Natasha Allegri's Sailor Moon-inspired Adventure Time posts. From there, we began talking about the idea and looked it up on Tumblr, where we found your drawing. Unfortunately, there was no source credit on the post. So yes, your art did inspire the outfits-- Mainly the color choices. I hope you don't mind.

What we wanted to do with the outfits were to incorporate elements of a specific Sailor Scout. For example, since Bubblegum is a scientist, we wanted her poses and weapon to be like Sailor Mercury-- So she had a Bubble Gun. We also wanted to give her Mercury's blue glasses, but we ran out of time. For Marceline, it was a bit more difficult. We chose Sailor Saturn, gave her Saturn's boot style, and turned her axe bass into an axe staff, which you can see here: [link]

We originally had a Sailor Flame Princess in the group, but unfortunately, she couldn't make it to the con. She had Mars' flame bow.
