still not sure what i'm doing wrong:
jameshomepc:~$ conky
conky: Syntax error (/home/james/.conkyrc:3: unexpected symbol near '#') while reading config file.
conky: Assuming it's in old syntax and attempting conversion.
conky: desktop window (280000a) is subwindow of root window (1de)
conky: window type - normal
conky: drawing to created window (0x1e00001)
conky: drawing to double buffer
conky: one or more $endif's are missing
cp: target '/home/james/.cache/weather.png' is not a directory
I feel like i've tried all the differnt pastebins and still not working. Any ideas?

download it extract it to .conky ... for icons you need to copy .conky-google-now folder to your HOME (show hidden files)
there are two files: sample_dublin_celsius_560743 and sample_portland_fahrenheit_2475687
::: to change cities go to www.yahoo.com/news/weather/ire… then click on Change location enter your city and get your number from the addressbar. (the digits at the end of the address is your woeid)
::: search the sample for either 560743 or 2475687 depending on what temperature you want and replace it with your woeid
ps: this conky ONLY has weather and the network i edited out from the original
