It has this vibe, her eyes robotic-like, her dress design, when I saw it, I remembered Kusanagi's suit, I don't know why.....but that was my first thought 
Interesting thought. They open a new world and both have artificial bodies, that's true. It's funny how two absolutely different characters can be so similar.
