I use Smoothdraw, which I basically just draw something up in pencil and then color it in using this... XD
kora-the-dragoness.deviantart.… Here's what I come up with, this sort of messy blur. I'm not really good with it, I've actually stopped for quite a while and just stuck with pencil drawings...
I don't think that's bad at all, actually! You know...have you ever thought about playing withe the sharpness? That can make it less blurry.
I do sometimes, but I'm fairly new at this sort of thing. I don't really have the patience either. I wanted to do much more cleaner things, like yours D:
If you're willing to fiddle around for a bit, I DO recommend sumopaint. You can scan the pictures after you hand draw them, and then just open it up in the program. Then you can use the line tools on the side to ink. Then, on another layer, color! Easy peasy.
