I know, my art teacher said that once you use oils, you'll fall in love with them and won't turn back. I'll agree that they're very smooth in texture and blending, but my first love was acrylic. I learned how to control it the way I want it to, even after many trials. And it's cheaper. Heh.

I know what you mean.. Acrylics are my first love too. I know I will never give them up. There are some paintings that just call for them. Plus, as you say, they are much cheaper.. not to mention MUCH easier to clean up.
