Why did you make his expressions so pouty, i mean yes the planet around him is in ruins and about to explode and  an evil heartless alien who wanted to enslave and rule the universe attempted to destroy him but that's no reason to be pouty, one should always look on the bright side :) (Smile)

When they go super saiyan, it's with the intent to kill, that's why they are so angry or "pouty" as you say after transforming. Also, this scene looks like it's on Namek therefore Frieza must be in Goku's line of sight.

Never thought of it that way. goku's always cheerful though, thats why it felt unusual i guess.
