I found my black cat into a trash can, enclosed into a box. She was very young, not weaned yet. But she was the only kitten there. The mother probably had more than one kitty. Then probably was this one trown into the trash can because she's black.... She was the only one nobody wanted.
Also mine was abandoned with his mother and siblings, had been all but adopted, my kitten and another black kitten no, and my aunt adopted him.
She said to my parents: "There is only kitten and is black" and for my parents this is wasn't a problem.
People are really idiot to not adopt a cat simply because is black this is a sign of great ignorance!
