Very interesting! I think the openings on the wrist and heel of the hand look the best. Some of the ones on the fingers just don't look right to me. Not sure why... might be the direction or even something like the placement. Might also be cool, if you do it again, to have some of the exposed areas go around the 'edges' of the hand to give it a more realistic feel.
