Yes! I use a program with layers: GraphicsGale. C: There are lots of spriting programs with layers besides GraphicsGale though. And nearly all of them are free and very light weight~! :'D
I did each of the clothing on a different layer (except the shoes + pants... i forgot to do that there and it was too late lolol...) It's not a huge task at all! I just have to stick to doing one piece at a time so I don't accidentally drawing over another piece of clothing.

XD! Omfg! Maybe I need to give GraphicsGale a try ;-; But aahhh! I just love that you put extra effort into completing each piece of the outfit, even the parts we can't see in the full-view ;u;
