Comment on Smash Forgotten Ones by Orkimides
The only two I see hope for a Mewtwo and Roy. I know Roy was intended for Brawl, but was replaced by Sonic in the Roster. People who hacked the game code found incomplete data for Roy in the game.
Where's proof that Sonic replaced Roy?
There's evidence of seven characters that were being worked on for Brawl but that didn't make it in due to time constraints, and they're known by the Smash community as "The Forbidden Seven". www.ssbwiki.com/Beta_elements_…
Of these seven characters, however, Mewtwo is the only one that has any work done on him besides placeholder files, so if anything, it's more that Sonic replaced Mewtwo, rather than Roy (if ya really wanna get technical). But in actuality, had Brawl been given more time, Mewtwo would have gotten into the game (whether the others would or not is unknown, since they didn't have any work completed on them).
