Grell is a Japanese parody stereotype of gay men called おかま and he doesn't identify as a woman, he merely plays the role of a woman by using onee-kotoba. The Japanese original of this confessional refers to Grell as a man, what you have here is false fan translation. Yana-san herself refers to Grell as a man and uses male pronouns for him. All this "grell is a woman uwu" is raisin picking at its finest because you ignore everything else Grell has said about himself. In Japanese, Grell doesn't even refer to himself as a woman, he just uses onee-kotoba to sound cute and more alluring to get his hands into men's pants.

That speech is called oneekotoba and a speech pattern that isn't particularly used by women, but more by young girls to sound cute, as well as gay men who live and work as okama.

yeah this is late because I don't use DeviantArt since it's become a cesspool of garbage but outside the confessional she literally constantly bemoans the fact that she wasn't born with the body of a woman, I swear to God people will come up with any excuse to call trans women gay men up to and including "this isn't a trans woman, just a highly offensive stereotype based on the idea that gay men secretly want to be women"
But...you still missed the point. Grell ISN'T a transwoman, nor supposed to be one. It's fine to see him like that (even if he's the worst rep ever for that but whatever), I don't understand why people fight over it when the entire character is ambigously written and described as something that the western culture doesn't really understand. Just chill and let people see Grell as whatever they want. Stop the damn harassment over some lines drawn on paper.
