Well, now, make SURE you find out for like, 110% certain, that these are indeed black chanterelles, because when it comes to mushrooms, a simple mistake can kill you!  There are a lot of look-alike species, some of which are extremely toxic while other nearly-identical species are deliciously edible.  I would definitely seek out someone who really knows about these things and send pics to them before you try eating any of them.
