My green wall is now pockmarked with bits and bits of blue that I can't get rid off. -grumbles-
I didn't actually expect it to do that; this is the first time I've actually taken the posters down to replace them (I didn't have any posters up last time, it's a relatively recent thing).

Dante's Inferno is really long, though. o:
Is there a verse you like particularly? ;D

Hard to say. I'm still trying to get through it. Please don't start on this project. (I'd really rather NOT drive my friends insane.) If I had to pick it something I particularly like, it would be the Cliff Notes. Quite impossible to read the poem w/o help!

Yeah, I definitely remembered the packaging advertising that the blu tack would come off cleanly without damage. Investigations online showed that to be true, well true-ish, IF said stuff was tacked onto wallpaper, not a painted surface! Sigh.)

I'll look up the Cliff Notes. xD

I feel the same way with a large majority of my Literature texts.

LIARS.
They need to put that clearly on the packaging, okay.

In retrospect, we would've probably gotten exactly the same pockmarked wall we have now if we'd used glue to get those posters on the wall. Dirty liars. Ugh.

Hey, at least you could probably wash glue off with water. :P
MidNightMagnificent's avatar
Well... That depends on WHAT glue. You know the sticky white paste thingy? That washed off quite well. Most other types, such as the clear bottle glue, most commonly found lying around? Not so good.

(And the reason we know this is a classroom wall. Oh Hell no, I would never try so in my own house! =P)

Yeah, the white ones are water soluble, so they should come right off.
-is actually trying to put another poster up, and trying to find something that will put it up on the wall without it dropping-
Maybe I should really try the glue. O_O

You know the UHU white gluestick things? That doesn't really damnage the wall either, and it's a better idea if you're fickle-minded and want a change of wall every so often. Very easy to get it off. (In fact, that stuff falls down after only so long without any effort on your part! =P
