Heck, maybe I should kindly ask Mimezinga to help me make a suitable character.

But I guess regardless of who I asked for help, there's some basic questions that could help me go forward:
Why do I like Puppysmiles? - She makes me laugh in the story in her er... inexperienced perspective of the world leading her into misadventures, she's kinda tiny and cute, she's bright cheery fun colors, and she can be just a little creepy with little effort or change

What would I change if I were making my own personalized Puppy? - Uh... ? I dunno. She'd arbitrarily be an adult (which she already technically qualifies as, given the +200 years of physical age), and I might tweak some colors and proportions a little. Maybe make a unicorn because I'm lazy and floaty magic manipulation makes lazy so much easier. And she'd probably not be walking death.

Why would this need to exist? - to look pretty and entertain me until my Puppeh kick ends. And little else.

Would this derivative character be appropriate if created and claimed as my own? - Probably not, with tweaks as minute as what I suggested. The only one that sounded close to a major divergence is removing the walking death aspect. But that also takes that creepy aspect in my Likes section right off the list. I'd need more tweaks, like changing her origin story or something. Which I'm not particularly interested in doing, apparently. I could still do as proposed and ask the author if it's OK, but if I'm feeling that doubtful about the idea, I probably shouldn't be doing it.

But I dunno. I just keep changing my mind on things all the time. It'd be kinda awkward if I asked a favor like helping to get a new character and then lost interest in it the next week for something else. :x

Maybe I'm trying too hard to identify myself with individual characters and personalities when all I really need is a theme and a subject-of-the-day. But how does one make an avatar to represent a whole theme? :/

Wow. That's a lot of detail.
