So you go for extension rings + 100f2.8 + Raynox250.

The top is my flash, I inverted it and mount it on the tripod collar and trigger it via off shoe cord. 
I did this to move my flash forward so that i can lower my flash power. This is my previous setup 4.bp.blogspot.com/-eS217EhkxUA…
Its about the same but i need higher flash power or ISO.

Hmm... depends on how fussy you are I personally find them ok, maybe towards the edge the IQ will drop... but if you are looking at closeup filter, this is definitely one of the best. Fyi, the raynox 250 is a +8 closeup filter, which makes your shooting kind of limited. For my setup, i can only shoot at min distance of 5cm to about maybe 15cm.
