Neil Gaiman has this interesting writing advice - listen to people who tell you there's something wrong in your writing but aren't sure what. Ignore those who point out the exact issue and make suggestions as to how to change it. I guess life works similarly. Either way, I'm not fully agreeing with that statement, but it's an interesting point of view to play little mind games with. (Yay! Mindsweeper!)
