I doubt you are stupid, but I can't judge you on laziness - honestly, I am lazy too and should continue studying Russian more harder
I'm going to Ukraine next month - I will be there for 8 weeks or so to visit friend, maybe I'll learn something ahah..ha..;;They say that Russian/Slavic people are actually very good at learning foreign languages - a number of my friends even study Chinese or Spanish and it's amazing how well they can learn this. Your teacher shouldn't take such things personally - same for teachers of any subject. So maybe she killed your interest even further, which is a shame... I used to study Japanese almost obsessively, until teenage Japanese-wannabe girls were on the rise. Even my friends around me would try to act as if they knew Japanese better than each other and this killed my motivation completely, because it was so stupid and becoming like a contest of who knows more. (and also because I began learning Russian afterwards)
French is nice
even if you're too lazy to study all of it, it's nice to just learn a few things for your interest. It might take you further into studying the language.. that what happened to me.
also, I added you. You seem pretty cool lol
