Well when I have time, right now I'm drowning in my painting classes right now. >,<

Well if you can then you should.

Paaaaaainting Class! One day I will paint again, when I feel up to dealing with the price of paint, canvas, and some stretcher. Oh, and friggen... gesso. D:

When I went to art school, I got marked down sometimes cause I didn't add as many layers to my paintings as they thought I should. Unfortunately I lacked money xD

Are your classes really strict about EPA standards? o.o

Ahhhh, I HATE stretching canvas but it's to expensive otherwise. I've got enough gesso and raw canvas to last me years. XD

Oh yes, they won't let us use cadmium paints at all~! And they bitch at us when we even go near the sink with turpenoid or Gamsol in our hands, we aren't going to pour it down the sink, we're not fourth graders you know…you tell us not to, we won't do it.
I have a few of my paintings in my gallery if you'd like to see them just for kicks..you don't have too…it's just nice to find another actually physical painter that also digitally colors cartoons too.

I'm more of a drawing guy. I've just kinda had a craving for painting cause I haven't done it in years xD.

The EPA stuff was kinda hilarious at my school. We could only use the paints sold in the school store. I don't remember if we couldn't use cadmiums or anything. We were also required to paint with kitchen gloves and wear aprons. The gloves thing was really weird to me.

Yeah, drawing is cool, but I love to paint….oils and watercolor are my forte'.

Kitchen gloves? That is weird…they don't want you to get it on your hands? But it's no fun if you don't get messy, and unless they are cadmium based paints they are harmless.

Yeah, they didn't want it on our hands. I have no idea how strict they are on stuff now.

I unno, I'm not really a messy painter, so I generally come out... near spotless. Paint just loves hands no matter how careful you are. I generally like working in acrylics. I've only ever done oil thrice. I would like to do it again some day.  I have sometimes done water color cause it's cheap and it works well with inked linework xD give or take.
