I love this render but having the exact same image duplicated, enlarged and retaining ~70% opacity makes the image very busy and is causing me to have trouble distinguishing the character's actual silhouette. If you like filling the background with something, I'd see how it looks with just the sketchy linework in the background, with ~15-25% opacity. Or if you made a series of sketchy gestures before you settled on this guy, putting that in the BG with a similar ~15-25% opacity might be interesting?
