Sorry, it looked like he was having one of his moments were he loses control of his titan body since eyes are red. His eyes usually change colors when he loses control. Ymir had eaten people when she lost control of her titan when she first got her powers. So I am not saying its impossible for titan shifters to revert into regular titans and eat people. Just saying.
