Yes, it is. Sailor Moon is around 20 years old now and the new anime reboot Sailor Moon Crystal has been released. After this Netflix released an show called: 'Glitter Force' which was not made in Japan although the animation looks a lot like anime. If you watch both shows you will see the many similarities in the two programmes. Such as the characters. There are five in Sailor Moon and five in Glitter force. The main characters Glitter Lucky and Sailor Moon have simular hair styles, the same personality as well and a similar colour scheme all though Glitter Lucky is a little more pink. The companions or pets ,Luna and Candy, Both serve the same Purpose. This is familiar with The other Guardians, they have the same powers although the creators have swapped a few personalities. The transformations are basically the same but sailor moon's is cooler <3
Facts bruh.
I so believe Sailor Moon was a bit more badass but still Girly and Glitter Force really aimed at smaller audiences. As I said I do suggest watching or reading Sailor Moon.

Actually the Sailor Moon series (specifically the manga) is almost 25 years old. Sometime in March is the anniversary.

~All I was sayin the way the artiste used the girls reminded me of the glitter force characters I haven't watched enough sailor moon to know this m'kay? Btw I know the Japanese didn't work on glitter force it's an anime or somewhat because it was never really Japanese. I know this because I watched glitter force over and over plus I do research on shows I like, ex family guy ,pokemon, avatar the last air ended etc.~

I see what you mean, but all I was saying was they remind you of glitter force is because sailor moon is basically glitter force. Surprisingly weather you like glitter force is your opinion, and I totally respect that but I was just answering to why they remind you of glitter force. Also an anime is a Japanese animation. So no, it is not an anime although it looks so similar. Video what we are arguing about any more.
