In total it probably takes about 8-12 hours to finish one spread. I usually spread it out into a course of about a week or so.

Honestly, I kind of wing it with the panels! I used to spend a lot of time planning it out, but I think after awhile, you pick up a natural feel for it. I tend to approach things from a cinematic point of view. I do some chicken scratch scribbles before I start just to map it out.
