Yeah! When I caught a shiny Burmy in X, I check the gender and it´s male. Now I have a shiny Mothim, not a Wormadan. 
haha, at least mothim is somewhat good.
Yes, I guess... But I prefer a Wormadan shiny.
Anyway, I think that has interesting stats.

My last shiny pkmn was a Pachirisu caught in the Friend Safari. I was so lucky that day becuase it´s the same day that I get the Burmy! 
I though that I have 7 shinies (Luxray, Gastrodon, Lickilicky, Omastar, Pinsir, Mothim, and Pachirisu), but if I count the games gives you and the events I have 12 (Gyarados, Dragonite, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina).
Yea I have right now 4;
I have Lucario (I traded a shiny tangrowth for it), I have Chandeleer, I have a level 1 metang (I just got it too), and Now tyrunt.
counting the ones I get for "free" I have quite a few.
Gyrados, Dragonair (I kept it as an eviolite), Dialga, Palkia, Giratina. And a friend of mine traded me the shiny Magikarp from Japan for the shiny gibble.. 
I remember that two people trade me on BW two false shinies! It was a Salamance and a Riolu. I gave them to a friend because I want shinies geting by me legaly.
