Hah, Deadpool isn't a great marvel hero character by any means. He is more something different, a change of pace from the norm, and comic relief. He has the Weapon X healing factor duplicated from Wolverine but they often take that to extremes that pass realism by miles, like when he gets blown up or his head cut off, yet survives. The guy knows he is a comic book character and thus talks to the readers. Honestly he is kind of annoying and I know some people can't stand him, but his vile humor and love for Mexican foods and murder does make me laugh.
hell yeah! thats my stuff right there. i just finished both Kick Ass books and that was a good escape from the norm as well.
