You know it's weird, in the manga Gray is absolutely ripped, completely buff to the max. But in the anime they really downplayed this, he and Natsu are about the same in musculature in the anime, while in the manga it's quite obvious that he's more than a little bit bulkier than Natsu. I never understood the animators need to change that. Anyone have any theories?
Maybe the creators are making him look like his age. Cause I know that gray used to smoke and it wasn't appropriate for his age. If I'm not mistaken gray is 18 yrs old. I guess u can say that the creators are just making gray look less and less badass
