It's best not to apply logic to Who. As for these theories, it's a lot of fun to speculate on what is actually going on. Either way, I think we can all agree that Yoglabs is crazily evil and corrupt, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if one of these days they turn around or go into a new room and see Israphel standing there shooting at them or using their crazy high-tech gear to take over the Labs.

Either way, I feel like we've kind of been watching Shadow of Israphel the whole time, even though it wasn't scripted and Israphel wasn't there.

I hesitate to call them outright evil for the same reason I am reluctant to call say, Torchwood, or anybody really who is human and has ulterior motives, evil. Seriously corrupt though? Ohohohoh hell yeah. Very very much so, wehatever goals they have have been lost under the actions they've committed. It's fascinating to think about how such things might play out (in my head I like the idea of real!Xephos coming face to face with the clone who runs the lab and being all bewildered and shocked and "oh my Notch, how could you DO those things?" whereas the clone is like"mate, seriously, I'm you there's nothing I've done here which is beyond the realms of your own capacity for barbarism, given the proper motivation, deal B|." (Evul sunglasses optional)

Agreed, it's always bee n there (no wonder they get annoyed by people asking, they've been working hard on it the whole time!)

......... You're incredibly right! These are great ideas!

(Also I admit I accidentally left this comment before seeing the episode, and now that I've seen it I've posted twelve different things about it on Tumblr)
