Comment on Species and Character Creation Guide + FAQ by floraverse

I want to draw up a Thorny Gnoll character but would like to know a little more about them (e.g what defines them & what affinities are common). I know PK is super busy & is pumping out species reference sheets as fast as is possible but yeah just wondering if I can get a quick rundown of the dos & don'ts of Thorny Gnolls. I can infer a bit from the twins designs but I don't want to design something too similar to them.
