i would like to see martas drawings and sketchbook for this and the refs ..
Meybe she doesn`t need references and sketchbook is just sketchbook she doesn`t have to show it to everyone and besindes believe me or not but these artworks are not paintovers. Go to youtube for example and see some of her videos from ImagineFx magazine.
i have been an illustrator for thirty years and anyone who does photorealistic artwork without refs is not being truthful..an artist painting in oils and acrylics draws preliminary sketches and drawings..
i have studied art for 35 years and have yet to come across someone who does not use references for photorealistic art ..an i have taught a lot of students..
martas art digitally drawn is looked upon as rather suspect by those who know about creating artwork traditional and digital...videos of artwork can be so easily manipulated to give the viewer the idea they do it without refs..
marta has shown no experience of drawing the human figure from first drawing to final artwork..where are her anatomy sketches ..no one has seen them her figures just appear out of thin air..
some parts of martas artwork parts is photorealistic and some parts are amateurish on the same painting...
you are being somewhat naive to believe that this art was done without references..
being honest about how you create your does not make you less of an artist ...i only wish marta would show her references to young artists ..to see how references are used

So being an illustrator for thirty years and becouse you studied art for 35 years entitle you to be disrespectful for others here? I know videos can be manipulated I am not stupid 
. Meybe she is using references meybe not meybe she just observe her own body in the mirror. If you want to know so badly how she creates her artworks you should just ask her politely. Meybe you are older and have more experience but to be honest your comments gave me an impression that you are just some kid not some professional artist with class. Heve a nice day/night
