Definitely, the Red/Blue setup would have much easier on the eyes.  Why they insisted on Red/Black is still puzzling.

The Reason they did Red and Black is cause Red LEDs are Cheaper to produce then any other color.

That would be sad if cost effectiveness is the reason they went that way, and they probably have.  I'd much prefer a blue-lite LCD panes to that.  The refresh rate would have been horrible and it would still have ghosting like the Game Boy, but at least I wouldn't get a migraine if I played for longer than 10-15 minutes. :lol:

You're lucky.  My eyes have a low tolerance for an over abundance of red.  That's also partly why I hate using the JPEG format, because it's terrible at rendering red with high levels of compression.
