As your public defender, I advise you give this album a shot. I've listened to some of the early material and got my share of sneak peaks, and I can say it's like a rock opera - the whole album tells a story, and an interesting one at that.
On another note, there is an official album cover coming soon, and after that I'll be resuming fic-writing and illustrating - which I bet is just what you're looking for!

Kidding, of course, but for some reason I assumed the album would be instrumental. Of course, nothing in your comment implies this one has words in its songs, but--again--it's one of the things I assumed when you told it tells a story...

The wonderful thing about music and modern technology is that you can enjoy it while performing other tasks!
There are vocal tracks, one of which was uploaded by LasFas as an early demo some months ago. Lemme err... here! Most of the album is a mix of Orchestral and Prog Rock, with some of my favourite parts being all orchestral due to the imagery it creates.
What I'm saying is that the quality of this album is immense, and sometimes I feel my artistic efforts are not worthy.
I gave the song a shot and Dear Princess Celestia, just today I learned that I can't seem to enjoy progressive/hard rock. 
I dunno why, though. Maybe I'm simply musically challenged? Or perhaps I enjoy a different taste of music? Truly a mystery.
