Until we find out more about Danny this will be my new headcanon. How awesome that would be! Must be difficult for him too though, finding out that the things he teaches his kids are completely wrong. 
Danny: Doctor, I've had to quit my job at the school.
Doctor: Oh really? Why?
Danny: Well, thanks to SOMEONE showing me that everything I spent three years at university studying to teach history is all a load of tripe, I don't feel qualified anymore!
Doctor: Hmmm....very awkward....
Poor Danny. (This must happen!)
It would be even better if HE accidentally made a major historic event happen.
