the really funny thing about your comment about how emotional this is....
it was inspired by markers and microbiology. the subject matter is even more mundane than it appears to be at first glance, haha!

Well, the emotion it evoked in me was quite strong and lasting. And you know what - I don't care how mundane your inspiration was! Not at all! It produced something that touched me so deeply, it hardly matters. 
I'm working on the painting right now :P

actually, now that i look back on it (funny how a poem's meaning can sometimes change depending on context or what's going on or the length of thinking about it) this was somewhat inspired by my (at the time) not-yet-boyfriend; that i couldn't keep holding back my feelings for much longer.  it turns out, i was right!

:giggle: Oh boy! That definitely changes my view of the poem! I will try to hold on to the first one until I finish this thing because it totally looks out of place now :noes:  I'm so happy "spring" came for you, though :P

the thing is, i think you're right on the money though too... like romantic feelings are like a light you're holding inside of you. :)
