Comment on motion blur with smudge tool by kir-tat

I cant seem to achieve effect number 5...and I am not sure if its because of the settings, my photoshop or how I try to do it...

i hope you doing it with the tablet and your tablet is wacom. make a fast soft stroke. don't press very hard. be fast.

Yea I got a wacom tablet that I use and I try to use it as light and fast as I can, still just smudges like normal.

then... i don't know :( looks like you forgot to turn off spacing, but it's hardly possible.
