I m so bad with constant activity :(

What's depressing is that is how often an artist fades away from the community; already forgotten. A fair number of artists I've commissioned  in the past have quit DA due to their failed attempts at getting back into the community after returning from a hiatus.

It's a tedious job, especially if you were gone for important reasons, so it is especially draining.

That's a very interesting insight, in the past I tried to be more involved as well but couldn't find the time and energy. And I don't think people can live off DA so hiatus are bound to happen. To that matter Youtube managed very quickly to remunerate its content producer, so maybe that's why it scaled up so successfully? I still remember when DA deleted all my Flash games due to third sponsor ads, I was so emotionally shocked and from that day I knew not to expect support from contributing more on the platform.
Anyway it's nice to talk to someone that has been following the community for so long :)

Goodness. While I cannot relate to the shock value of losing your work for such reasons, just losing your progress and projects altogether in one fell swoop just kills one's motivation instantly. The strength required to recuperate and rebuild that tower is not easy as many I'm sure would say, but it also serves as a test of character - of passion, even.

I like it here in dA even though I do more of my commission-seeking ways on Tumblr now. It was in dA that I've managed to bring old OCs to life after keeping them described through words for so long, and with them now stale subjects in my commission requests. Seeing updates from "veterans" after a noticeable period and instantly recognizing them and why you follow their work is always refreshing. Please...keep up the good work, Koruldia, at chasing your passions. :)

I don't think it is a problem. You are present as you feel it good, I am sure you have other things to do than constantly being online :)
